this is really heartfelt, and i appreciate that it draws a comparison from the emotional struggle of hiding and shame that he might face to similar ones in his cisgender peers. and the depiction of how he opens up and his personality shows more when he gains friends is really great especially after the horrifying, relateable depiction of his crushing isolated state at the beginning. its a good amount of kids messing around without losing there being a plot. so far, ive just read volume one though.
