A Wage Slave is Reincarnated In Isekai!! It's Heartbreaking!!!
this was pretty funny. its not complex or beautiful, but it does what it sets out to do wonderfully, which is subvert the idea that a regular salaryman who wont change his life and who knows nothing about the second world will end up successful. needs more analysis of capitalism tho!
The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes
its a het manga, but the commitment to making all of the plot about tea is great, im actually enjoying myself here. no the characters and romance arent unique or engrossing but its like. counterfeit tea, how do we perfectly market the tea in this restaurant, tea cures cancer, im here for it lmao

The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady
Solo Leveling
this isnt the series for you if you cant stand things that are callous about death. a frequent trope is introducing so called strong characters only to kill them off in order to make the protagonist look even better. also, children die in this and personally thats something i struggle to see. nevertheless this isnt surprising when you consider this is the one of the first isekai ive seen that leans heavily into horror. the tone of utter despair and bloody ruthlessness in advancing your interests that begins from the first few chapters heightens as the series goes on. it seems so wonderful that he gets a second chance, but is it? i was thinking, well i cant be too angry about all the death because at least we have the cute chibi summons, but then, maybe it should be scary how quickly and unbelievably they go from wanting him dead to loving him. go into this expecting the glorification of traits associated with men that most shounen contain, but something beyond the fanservice, something speculative and mind-warping. well, im definitely overstating it lol, but i love isekai.
"The Villainess" and The Woman Who Would Do Anything for the Sake of Love
this is so beautiful, both in the art and its strange mood of both levity and somberness. the creepy yet romantic ramping up of the protagonists selfish wish to save her life... how do you save a villainess that knows shes destined to die, can you really defy her will? its incredible watching that happen, her slow slip into accepting love.
I Favor The Villainess
