They were cute. The MC magically loses weight bc plot. I didn’t quite see the chemistry, but it’s a decent read. Nothing to cry home about though.

Cute, fluffy story. I do wish there was more of the ML’s backstory, but this is a straightforward, light read. Ngl this is pretty mid, but maybe it’s because of this author (whose works I do love) that people are going gaga over it.

Gosh this is really good! It’s slow paced (the romance), but the slow burn actually feels rewarding. I also love the effort that goes into the baseball elements. As a die hard fan of sports manga, this satisfies my itch for that and also a sports-based BL. The two elements are perfectly balanced, and the character growth is so well written!

12 They’re so freaking adorableee. I adore that they’re the same age and they like each other just as much as the other! They’re so awkward, and this manga perfectly encapsulates first love imo. This is the kind of manga you can’t help kicking your feet in the air too… Ughh i just love them sm

10.5 THEYRE SO CUTE I love stories with premises like this (oblivious, “average” MC x whipped, handsome ML). this reminds me of some fanfic I’ve read before. my heart is purified from reading this

Idc what everyone else says I actually really like this! The ML is a little possessive but the college setting and the overall fact he’s still young softens the blow a bit. Like the MC is his first crush, cut him some slack yk? Plus he genuinely cares for the MC. I feel he’s more like a tsundere more than anything else. I love the trope where the ML is head over heels and the MC is oblivious, so this is very much my cup of tea! I also like their dynamic sm like they’re alrdy so domestic without dating JUST FALL IN LOVE ALRDY 25

The first four chapters were top tier… I’ll always the childhood friends to lovers trope. I thought this was really cute! It’s kinda refreshing that none of the leads see bottoming as some sort of degrading thing. Actually they both like it a lot! Which is so nice because I’m so used to seeing “tops” fight over who gets to have the “man’s role” or whatever (which is bogus). I feel like vers couples in gay romance should be way more popular. I liked that the leads are pretty honest with each other about their feelings. The angst is short lived, making this a short, light read. BUT WHAT THE HELL WAS THE LAST CHAPTER… selfcest *sobs* 5

48 This is definition of a toxic relationship… The ML can’t stand not being in control of their relationship and whenever the MC does something he deems is “wrong,” he punishes the MC. He controls the MC’s every move, and the MC can’t really do anything because he’s being threatened. The ML is super abusive. I’m interestingggg how things will unfold, though, so ig I will keep reading? The art is good at least
