Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko

Ongoing | Roy | 2000 released

Review: It seems like a lot of isekais involve slimes, but I don’t mind one bit. This story was fabulous. The art was up to par, the plot was beautiful, and I just enjoyed reading this in general. I basked and immersed myself in every page. This manga is so good. I— You’re missing out if you’re not reading this. Side note: Caught up to chapter 30.

Act-age

Ongoing | matsuki tatsuya | 2000 released

Okay, so I binge read this after rereading “Movies are real,” and they are nothing alike?? Like the MC in “Movies are real” doesn’t actually act. He IS the character. Here, the MC uses method acting to create a scarily realistic representation of her role. I heard this was dropped, but this is a top tier acting manga. She almost loses herself in her acting, which makes reading very exhilarating. Plus, the side characters were interesting like that Araya guy. Every aspect is elevated by the art, so kudos to the artist (they played a key part in the reader’s enjoyment). Such a captivating storyline…. Truly a shame this was cancelled. I wish hell on the writer and heaven on the artist!

Kiraboshi Dial

Complete | NATSUME Isaku | 2000 released

I love this mangaka! Anyway, this was short, yet satisfying, I especially liked the ending and the recurrent themes you can catch. Some parts of the storytelling were really good. It’s a fluffy and sweet read. The art was *delicious* ofc
