Yoidore Koi o Sezu
Master of sake, Suwa Misumi, known for being “too friendly” with customers gets fired. While job hunting, he finds the perfect restaurant to work at! Thing is—the restaurant owner is his drunken one night stand! Review: I think that this comic was better than most.
30 Sai Kara no Coming Out
Review: The two stories—I loved the both of them. I kind of forced myself to get through the second hand embarrassment, and it was worth it. The art was great, and I love both storylines. I loved how the first manga had a fulfilling story with fluff and steam. One aspect I liked about the second manga that I thought was unique was the when eating sweets or seeing something they liked, the uke made a lewd expression. It was pretty cute, and I like it, too. I also enjoyed seeing the crossover at the end! It was good! I also agree with the author. I like BL mangas with dark haired ukes, too. XD Definitely coming back to reread!
The Part-time Housekeeper!
Review: Well, that was rather straightforward. Still enjoyed it, though.
What’s the Probability of A Successful Love?
Review: Okay, so this is good even though there’s smut every other chapter. I can already see how this might go. Jitae let’s himself fall for the ML. There’s a time where they’ll act like loving boyfriends and stuff. Then, ML will distance himself bc of the dare and shiz. But they’ll still f!ck bc that’s how it is. This time with more feelings. They’ll separate for a while. Jitae’s unrequited love finds out. They talk it out. Finally, they’ll live happily ever after. Let’s see if that’s how it’ll be. Lmao. It will be fun to see the turn of events. Update: So this is pretty thrilling, I stand by what I said. The ML is so mysterious. The MC seems like the type to be easily swayed. I really like the drama. Is love really a "game"? I'm intrigued in how the author will express their feelings on the matter. The side couple is pretty interesting as well.
kiss on the piano
Review: Overhyoed with nsfw and very other chapter. Not much substance. Chapter 27
Mote Papa to Dakaretai Junjou Koushi
Hollow Lovers
Dude, the cover does not do this manhua enough justice. Definitely bittersweet. The author really emphasized their experiences as gay men, living their lives in the eyes of society. I liked that they touched on the opposition from family and general homophobia. Made every drama filled BL I've read pale in comparison to the emotional entanglement the two leads experience, especially in regards to the main character. If you had thought your sexuality was rigid, and you find that it's rough, it's probably a tough pill to swallow which is even more so when being homosexual in China. Appreciated the themes of bettering one's life out of your own volition, moving forward though a world that is seemingly against you.
