Masked Woman
Review: I really liked this manhwa. It was like a breath of fresh air. I’d totally recommend this!
Kikoeru?
Sakurabashi Itsuki’s only hobby is listening to his favorite radio DJ, Yunokuchi Arata (otherwise known as “JUNO”) One day, they happen to cross paths at a local bookstore where Itsuki confesses his admiration. Comment: I liked the comic overall, but I didn’t really like the seme’s personality. And the *** scene? Oh my gods. It was kind of hard for me to read because the uke is so sweet and adorable. I couldn’t imagine him doing something like that. But again, he is 21 years old, and that fact won’t change no matter how much I fawn over him. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ It was steamy, though, so I’ll give it that. I like the mangaka’s art style and their stories. I’m binge-reading them right now. I wouldn’t read it again, but it was a nice read in general. It’s a light read. It’s okay, but I think it could have been better.
Hajimari Wa Sayonara
Review: I don’t really remember specific details about this comic. I distinctively remember not really liking the seme for some reason. I think it was because he was acting possessive when it was not his place. It really ticks me off when semes act all jealous and do irrational things that shouldn’t be excusable, but somehow are because they were only doing those things because they loved the uke, right (?) The ending was unsatisfactory to me. I think this manga was tolerable. I wouldn’t read it again, though.
Egoistic Trap
Okubyoumono Ni I Love You
Comment: I could have sworn that Shougo was the seme! Nope! My thoughts were wrong. I was so confused on who was the top or bottom. Hina really gave me uke vibes. He was really soft, and I thought he was more submissive, since Shougo was more upfront and blank in the beginning. Hina didn’t really express any dominant auras even when they actually did it, so I am still confusion to this day. :)
The Best Smell
Review: I love this story. I literally loved everything about it. The plot, the art, the air—everything, I loved how their relationship progressed. The only downside about this was that I was so emotionally invested in the story that it became that their obliviousness became so painful that it physically hurt to get through this. I’d like to ask the gods for a refund, I did not get what I asked for. You know what—the gods can take back my second-hand embarrassment for free for all I care! I just don’t want it. I really liked how the interacted with each other. They were so cute and adorable together. I loved their ship dynamic. The two are a match made in heaven (or hell). You can immediately tell through their actions that the love Kanggo and Kamin have is equally mutual. The comedic moments will make you laugh. The depressing moments will make you cry. The heartwarming moments will make you smile. This comic is too fluffy. I can’t— This deserves every one of it’s stars. Comment: I was so anxious that when they were about to kiss in the classroom, the green haired guy would turn out to be homophobic, and the whole school would know about it and that it would turn out super angsty. I was wrong, and I’m relieved. I’m so glad that their classmates supported their relationship. It was a nice change of pace. I thought that when Kamin found about about Kanggo’s extraordinary sense of smell, I thought he would drop him because he felt afraid. When he started talking about the possibilities of other people having “superpowers” like him, I felt like Hisoka (a clown). I was all up and worried, and for what? Still salty about that. ( ̄^ ̄) P.S: Caught up to chapter 69.
