Yunifer had to change her destiny. “Ishid and Rael can live happily ever after for all I care! ‘Cause I’m going to break free from the original story!” Through numerous ups and downs, Yunifer graduated at the academy where she had met Rael without interacting with the hero and heroine! But can Yunifer escape them? Can she escape the claws of fate? Comment: I do be looking like a clown now because I expected fantasy and received ****. I’m not complaining, but reading these make me feel so squeamish like I’m spying and third-wheeling on an intimate moment that is theirs alone. When I’m reading, it’s really hard to get through these scenes, not going to lie. Ishid is so freaking cute. He is baby, and no one can tell me wrong. I think I kind of relate to Ishid when he sees himself as a bother/nuisance. He’s never had someone validate him like Yunifer does, and that’s honestly depressing. I hope their relationship can develop to be more than just steamy ***. P.S: Caught up to chapter 26.

Review: First thoughts: Plot lowkey kind of reminds me of “Doctor Elise,” but we’ll see how this differs. Update: I like it so far. I haven’t read enough of it to properly judge it, but I think it’s decent. The male lead is fine, and the story overall is okay. Side note: Caught up to chapter 15.
