Review: Misunderstanding after misunderstanding follows, and sometimes, I feel like misunderstandings are the only plot points that get the story moving. (T⌓T) The plot can be really frustrating at times, but the art is good. The storyline is okay, and I can keep up with it. It’s light, and I binge-read all of the chapter without it feeling like a chore.
Comment: There is a legit love pentagon in here. It consists of his lover, his boss, his lover’s sister, and one of his lover’s close friend. I guess Ye Shen has no trouble bringing milkshakes to the yard? I was rooting for the male lead at first, but now that I have caught up, I’ll just say no one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Until they grow up to be more emotionally mature to support and love someone other than themselves, no romance should be happening at all. Periodt. When I saw Ye Shen taking his stuff back from Lin Xiang Yao, I was like “wut”? They acted like an old married couple in a causal marital dispute. Like, who the hell has a bunch of stuff at their “friends with benefits” house? No one. That’s not benefits, that’s the whole arse contract if you get what I’m saying. The seme is so freaking irrational and thoughtless honestly. Not sure if we’re going to see any character development anytime soon. Side note: Ye Shen looks so cute in Lin’s white T-shirt. It’s oversized on him, and they are both boyfriend material.
P.S: Left off on chapter 121.5.
