It was quite as the summary stated… Not much to it. It’s a sort of open ending in that it feels unfinished. MC accidentally calls a gay escort service, gets blackmailed a little, and loses his virginity to a younger dude. There’s no substance to the story. It’s like I ate a spoon full of nothing, expecting at least a little flavor. I liked the vibe of the art, though.

Take Your Time

Ongoing | Taga taira | 2022 released

This was a really nice read! It’s very uplifting, and if I had to describe this manga in one word, I would say it is “effort.” This isn’t the most fully fleshed out story, but I liked that we could see the leads making the effort to reveal himself to the other, waiting, etc. I liked how the presence of their age gap was portrayed. Their romance felt sugary sweet! Yet nothing too substantial.

Ai da, Koi dano Shouhosen

Ongoing | Akihisa Teo | 2022 released

5 sighs this is just a bunch of fated pair mumbo jumbo. i really couldn’t care less about this couple. what is the author trying to accomplish here? they’re just playing into the typical omegaverse setting where an alpha and omega pair lose their rationality for each other. can’t say I’m a fan ‘cause this brings nothing new to the table

Sore wa Haru no Owari ni

Complete | NOJIRO Guri | 2020 released

short and sweet! loved the office romance. i’m not the biggest fan of love at first sight but this was such a major exception! very romantic as well. their dynamic felt a little off though. can’t say much about this

Even If It’s Not a Dramatic Love

Complete | Suzuki hako | 2022 released

4 ATS I don’t know about you, but I really like this so far. The romance is kind of subtle, and it is slowly builds up and up. It’s just like a very good example of excellent storytelling. I quite like this kind of slow burn. Feels realistic and mature in that sense.
