This has a Miraculous Ladybug situation. Two long time online friends finally met in person… The rich MC has a loaded past and just goes out of his way to construct an elaborate plan in order to replace his virtual self through the ML's eyes…. Like, just why? It's pretty dramatic and maybe even cliché (w/ the misunderstandings and everything), but I can't put this down. Anyway, the ending was a teensy bit anticlimactic, but I liked it! It was sweet. The pacing and plot was a little all over the place, though.

You know, this would be so perfect if i weren’t for the fact that— you know, the ML is a high schooler. I know that he’s technically legal, but c’mon now… Just knowing this while reading left a bad taste in my mouth. The setting is just right! The leads meet in an online game and love happens— as a couple, they were really cute and erotic, but as I said before, other parts made me uncomfortable. Like imagine getting with your coworker’s 18 year-old nephew.. I think it’s gross, and it infringes on the remnants of my remaining moral bottom line. A lot of important things just don’t get addressed. The uncle briefly mentions it, but that’s all— and he causally outed the MC. Don’t be like the uncle, guys. Minus the age gap this would be my cup of tea.

gosh i love this so much! their dynamic is just *chef’s kiss* the mc is in denial, but that’s okay. i heart the gaming aspect as well like this is so well written?! update: so the mc was a lil frustrating, but them as a couple were so cute. i absolutely loved seyeong and heejae together. i loved their bickering dynamic. heejae is such an exemplary example of a golden retriever, and seyong is pretty relatable (and also funny bc he gets easily riled up). i want more!! extras or some crumbs pls
