Absolutely Ruined Love

So I've read the ending, and I liked how the author handled the ML(s) with DID. I half expected the MLs to just fuse, but it didn't happen that way, which was different. The romcom element was there, but when you compare it to the (cheap) angst we got, it felt short-lived. In a way, the MCs are in a polyamorous relationship. You could see what the author was trying to do, and I do think they accomplished that in such a short time frame. I do think that the story would've benefited from being a bit longer, though. All of the romance feels surface level like they just magically fall in love with the same people. Not that that doesn't happen, but I wasn't satisfied as a reader as it kind of just happened without rhyme or reason. Can't say it was entirely worth the read.

Don't Touch Me (Leenong)

Complete | Leenong | 2000 released

Reminded me of "Don't You Like Me?" (a danmei webnovel). Always like the college setting. Romantic interactions are slow yet cute. Enjoyed how the MC is drawn as a traditionally masculine presenting dude. Also like how the ML showed his vulnerabilities/fears! He wasn't JUST a possessive ML or whatever. Did not feel that the couple was being made to "look" more heterosexual. Art is good. Actual story-wise: Could be better. I do get the title credits. Wish that the love angle was not one of the main conflicts. The ending was okay, but there were loose ends… They never find out what the black smoke is or if there's a cure for it, and lots of things were left unresolved. This definitely needed more and not a rushed ending.
