A Returner's Magic Should Be Special
The Shadow World—the most catastrophic calamity ever to threaten humankind. Desir is among the last of the survivors, the last six. After coming in contact with Death and failing to save the world, Desir comes to and wakes up to find the world as it was—thirteen years ago? Desir is now back in the time when he was enrolled in Havrion Academy. There, he meets his fond comrades and focuses on changing the past, so that there could be a future again!! How will Desir handle the conflicts flying his way? Looks interesting! Can’t wait to read! :) Review: I love every aspect of the comic in general. I like how it really makes the fact clear that talent and power is not the only thing that can make you strong. Knowledge and experience can make up for the gap in power levels. Valuable lessons can be found within this comic. I would recommend this comic for people who like fantasy with a pinch of dark themes and comedy. :) Comment: Wisdom is indeed a formidable weapon. Why does Desir lowkey look like a bottom when he’s blushing? (Correction: look submissive lol) I love how he feels like himself around the people he loves. It’s very inspiring. Romantica x Desir? Pshhh. I only know Zod x Desir. XD Side note: Currently, I am waiting for more chapters. I finished reading at chapter 119. (Update this when you read more chapters!)
The beginning after the end
King Grey was a powerful king with unrivaled strength on Earth. After dying, he sees the light at the end of the tunnel, only to find out that it was from the light outside of a woman’s vagina! King Grey was reincarnated as a baby in a magical fantasy world! His new name is Author. How will he deal with his new life as a baby with memories of his past life? Review: This comic adaptation of the novel and the book itself are masterpieces. As I read and read, I fed the starving beast residing inside of me with this beautiful comic. The protagonist has a relatable personality, and I’m sure that he’ll be quite the looker when he grows up. The art is amazing, and the storyline is exactly what I would have wanted it to be like if I was the author. It’s like the author took everything my soul wanted in a fantasy novel and placed it in this comic. That’s how good this is. It’s unfortunate that there aren’t more chapters for myself to binge-read, but I do not regret a single bit of myself binge-reading this comic. I love it!! <333 Comment: Art is one of my favorite overpowered characters. i’d let him step on me. ●| ̄|_ P.S: Caught up to chapter 89.
Hunter X Hunter
The Abandoned Empress
Once upon a time, there was a simple girl named Aristia from the noble House of Monique. She was groomed to become the empress of the Castina Empire. She watched and fell in love with the stone-hearted prince from afar. But one day, her future is stripped away when an otherworldly girl appears. Aristia’s life comes crashing down piece by piece. Perhaps she wasn’t the one of the prophecy after all? When her miserable life finally comes to end by execution, she suddenly wakes up as her ten year-old self! What will she do with this new chance to change her destiny once and for all? Review: The art is always a main variable in determining whether how fit a comic is as a whole to your tastes. As for mine? I would like to think that they are pretty refined because of conditioning from other books I’ve read that have impacted my standards for novels and comics alike. The art is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Besides that, the plot is fairly interesting. I anticipate what Aristia’s new future looks like. I give the artist(s) props for drawing such an ornate comic such as this one. Overall, I feel that this comic deserves the five stars. Comment: Soo.... There’s a love triangle. Wait-no. A love square. You know what? I don’t freaking know. There are just so many potential love interests. You know that feeling that you’re so hellbent on? That feeling when this thought is constantly running through your mind-“If this ship isn’t cannon, I swear to the gods-“ Yeah, that feeling. A ship can either make it or break it for me. If I don’t like the main couple, then I’ll surely have trouble reading it, whether it be a manga, comic, novel, or fanfic. I ship the protagonist with the prince. I believe that people can change, so the prince is the new timeline isn’t the same as the one in the old one. I feel like they just-CLICK! You know what I’m sayin’? Like they were destined to be one another. Update: OH MY FREAKING GODS! I FREAKING KNEW IT! THE MALE LEAD IS THE PRINCE! HELL YEAH!!! MY READER’S INTUITION IS NEVER WRONG! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (`∀´)Ψ P.S: Left off on chapter 129.
The Last Surviving Alchemist Who Wishes for a Quiet Town Life
Reminiscence Adonis
Ianna and Arhad were alike in numerous ways—their passion for the sword and their obsession with each other. Rivals that could not live without the other, almost like their other half: these phrases could be used to describe their relationship. However, that could not possibly verbalize how their entangled fates looked like. Ianna died with no regrets at the sword of her enemy, Arhad, the emperor. No regrets? No. . . Perhaps she did have one. In another life, if Ianna was granted one—she would serve by his side until she met her end once again. After her death, she opens her eyes to find herself back in her old life, alive and breathing as her sixteen year-old self. What will Ianna do with this chance to fulfill her promise to her soul’s counterpart? Review: The art is splendid, and yes. I am talking about both art styles, but I have to admit I think that Arhad looked more attractive in the previous art style. Regardless of art style, I am thoroughly enjoying the storyline and watching the characters. This world is filled to the brim with intricate details and mythology, magic, and discovery. I’m addicted to it. This comic definitely deserves the four stars! (* ̄▽ ̄)ノ”(^ー^*) Comment: why is the fire sprit so friggin cute?!! (`ε´)
