A very beautiful story, that’s doesn’t involve the usual tropes. Plot is interesting, the setting is also pretty unique. I liked how the story flowed and the revelations piled up. Would have been perfect if we had gotten more clarity regarding Lin qings disappearance/absence period. Loved the ending but would have loved a penultimate chapter to fill in that content.

Heartbreaking, tragic, beautiful and so very tender. Zishu deserves better so much better. Doctor is seriously the one he needs and I wish they had more time. Jiang is such a massive piece of shit. My god, how could he put his lover who gave up everything for him, through that? The art is so beautiful, the story is powerful even tho it’s predictable. I just wish there was a glimpse of doctors future life shown..

My heart is an ocean of calm after a storm. That’s how I felt now that I’ve completed the story. Beautiful. Complete. Complex. Intricate. I have absolutely nothing that I can think of which will make the story better. I can’t search for plot holes or negatives about this manhwa. The story and the dialogues are the most standout. The pacing, the plot and the ending, resolution of all these things and the full circle: nothing short of incredible. Both of the main characters and the side characters were amazing too. I especially love the character development of saghye and jinwol. I could go on but to sum it up, this manhwa is pretty much perfect.

A heavy, heavy read. The start is very difficult to go along with but the story and plot develops rapidly. The issues presented are pretty intense. The toll mental health disorders take is very clearly conveyed in this manhua. The psychological and tragedy aspects are raw and hard hitting. However, the way this story makes you think about these things in different perspectives, absorbs you in and gives you hope for a better life and the fact that we can ALWAYS do better.. it’s something truly special. This is definitely worth reading.

Now we get to see some really interesting action at play, a very seemingly intricate plot filled with very complex and well built characters. Moonhyuk has a dark past and I can’t wait for MC to find it out and connect the dots and give us a hell of a story!

A chaotic funny crazy supernatural mess!

A triggering, twisted story full of drama and sex. There’s a lot of toxic shit going down with don who’s an actual rapist, blackmailer etc. baekhyung is bae and deserved better. Chanbit is scarred and traumatized so I honestly feel like as someone who’s been by his side he should have not been that clueless to his sufferings and plights. Overall, the story gets better with time and gives you plenty of psychological angst.

My heart breaks for my king Erus. He doesn’t deserve such hell. I hope dragon saves him. That serpent sex scenes were horrifying. Overall the setting is pretty interesting and I like how the plot develops. I cried for Rowan too. Precious baby

Incredibly beautiful art with unique characters. The story is riveting, and is so realistic. The trauma they both face is equally as gritting. The ending is well done as well. And almost as great as the art is the poetry and prose of the words and lines used. This is definitely stellar quality!

What a read. What an absolutely fantastic piece of writing this is. What I like is how poetic the writing is, how beautiful the art is and how well-crafted the plot, characters and story is. Abuse, power dynamics, psychological issues and privilege are key themes of this manhwa. And of course love. How love isn’t everything but how it could be everything too. One of the most unique things about this manhwa is that they addressed rape, abuse and other abusive behavior. The perpetrators repent after genuine apologies and have redemption arcs. Minjae is such a powerful character, more so than taewo too. It’s difficult to put in words but suffice to say this is close to a masterpiece depiction of a complicated relationship and complicated individuals. An extremely powerful, gritty and realistic one.
