Hapi Mari
This manga is one in which I have read a couple times but I always felt that it was a bit long like it was extended just for the sake of extending some parts. Don't get me wrong it is a excellent manga and some of the parts are so funny that they make me laugh out loud. Others are really sweet or frustrating. So it is a good read. However, if it had just one flaw it would be it's length.
Happy Trouble Wedding
the way it was written was choppy. The idea was decent for a romance but everything else was bad. The emotions were totally unrelatable. The girl looked like she was a teenybopper not even close to being of age. Even without the glasses. They show the guy having alterior motives which makes sense but just one break down by the girl crying makes him all of a sudden realize he is a jerk and want to be nice to her... I wouldn't know what to call this manga... not a romance though and not a josei... i can't really say. Even if there is more to it and it didn't stop there... i wouldn't read it.
Yoru Cafe
I really liked this one a lot. It is one of my favorite longer straight romances (not a oneshot or harlequin). I have read it a few times before and will probably read it again in the future. If I had any complaints it would be about how the girl was so stupid. There is a limit to being naive before it becomes just stupidity. Though I did like her originally and at the end too it was only when she let that guy with the glasses manipulate her like that that it bothered me. Anyway, great story great characters good art. All around a really worth while romance.
