Mc wakes up as a side character from a romance novel, decides best course of action is to avoid the main characters completely. She wakes up after getting drunk to find she slept with the male lead. He insists on marriage, she spends many chapters trying to find ways to not marry him. Like saying she has a lover, trying to be a Villianess, trying to become a nun, etc. It hasn't worked at all, but she doesn't give up. In trying to get him to call off the engagement, and him accepting every one of her faults and being an absolute angel, she falls in love with him. He finds out she was faking it the entire time, thinks she was just playing with his feelings for the fun of it, and finally agrees to call off the engagement, but now she regrets having hurt his feelings. Stuff happens that I don't remember, she gets pushed off a yacht, he jumps in to save her, she confesses, they get engaged again, everyone's happy. not really. welp. Now they are preparing for the wedding. She keeps on distracting herself with other things, until the duke puts her on lockdown so she is not allowed to leave the house. She gets kidnapped by the girl who pushed her off the yacht.
