Mejiro is a girl who wants to be needed. After desperately chasing the acceptance of her classmates she somehow finds herself drifting away in a river. For unknown reasons, the dream seller Shirogane finds her and gives Mejiro a new life as a yokai by placing a butterfly’s dream inside her. As Mejiro explores the world of yokai she begins to gain confidence in who she is.

From a young age, he is surrounded by the supernatural. One day, he picked up a strange dog collapsed near his home. It turns out that this dog was actually a demon whose name was sealed and lost it's powers. He suddenly said "I finally found you". By some kind of fate, he is needed to gain powers. The only way he can be on human form is to form a contract. He craved for him from the depths of his body but the truth is he was just being played?!

A young man named Hiiragi has recently learned that he has a half-brother. Seeking him out, he not only finds the brother he never knew, but discovers he is a mysterious individual covered in bandages who runs an exclusive rare animal pet shop. But this unique shop is itself a front for something even more mysterious: a secret shop where customers in-the-know can sign a contract forged in blood and rent out yokai for their own singular purposes!

Nagi had been looking forward to a celebratory dinner on the night of his 20th birthday when an unknown creature suddenly attacked him out of nowhere and molested him. He is saved by the timely arrival of a mysterious man who tears apart the vile creature. As it turned out, Nagi is the son of Nurarihyon, the supreme commander of yokai. To add to his problems, Nagi being half-yokai and his coming of age made him a target for rebellious, evil yokai who seek power by drawing on his vitality. The mysterious man, Toshiro, son of the crow tengu leader under the command of Nurarihyon, was tasked with protecting Nagi. And while Nagi just wants a normal life, he can't deny he needs Toshiro's protection.

Unable to fit in with the city, Idzuki, a lonely young man, moves into the countryside. However, the land is rumored to be haunted by youkai. As he struggles to get used to life in the mountains, with the abundance of insects and the lack of reception, he is suddenly attacked by a youkai. Cornered, out of the blue, a handsome young man with dog ears rescues him. The man claims to be a komainu youkai, a guardian lion-dog protecting shrines, pressing Idzuki to become his master — !?

When Nanao was a mere child, she was kidnapped by an Ayakashi. Since then, because of the spirit seal the Ayakashi carved on her body, Nanao has been oppressed by the people in her own clan as the "tainted one." Nanao was supposed to get married to the young master of the Byakurenji family, but her cousin Akemi stole her position as his bride, and she was forced to wear a monkey mask in order to hide the spirit seal, living a miserable life. Then one day, she meets Yako, the young head of the Benitsubaki clan. Due to an unforeseen event, Nanao's mask comes off and her face gets exposed, but that only causes Yako to become bewitched by her beauty and high spiritual power…
