The characters seemed pretty okay ig and I enjoyed reading their developments But this "school" has managed to invent a misogynistic patriarchy (except instead of men and women, it's tops and bottoms) in which the students' status is almost entirely determined by their value as sex objects Kinda gross, and I kinda hate it but I still was able to mostly enjoy the story

A lot of the scenes felt immoral in all the wrong ways . . . A lot of it felt forced or dub-con and while that can be hot, it felt too rushed and icky for taste : Art's good tho.

I read this a while ago and didn't give it a very good rating, so when I found it again I figured I'd reread it but I ended up just taking away more stars . . . The title is gross (no real excuse for that, big wtf), but the concept is cute with the height and build difference and Riku is representation for smaller people, which is appreciated. But Josh is a rapey piece of shit. He realizes that he's acting without consent and realizes that it's wrong but he does it anyway. He knows that he's assaulted Riku and understands that that is something that would make him understandably uncomfortable and distances himself from Riku, but he shows no real remorse and ends up doing it again. His sorry act and the "I can't control myself when I'm with you" kind of vibe feels so manipulative and gross and he says he's in love, but love is respect and there's no respect without consent. Long story short: fuck you, fictional 2D man, I hope you die.
