I love this manga so fucking much, Kyoko’s character and complex relationships so good. I love that in this manga they don’t flatten the characters—no main and almost no side character (looking at you Beagle...) is just cruel/mean for no reason, they are complex and have different sides to them. LOVE seeing Kyoko’s skill as an actress and her character develop. Just a great manga, I love it so much.

*spoiler* dropped because i was disappointed that they made the concubine a crazy bitch for seemingly no reason. like everything was more than fine between her and the empress but they just had to make her backstab the MC because…??? because women can’t be friends when there’s a man involved? even a man like the Small Dick Energy Emperor️???
