ending felt rushed

i enjoy the main duo and how they aren't a couple or meant to have a healthy relationship, they just want to torment each other lol

magi is a masterpiece of interweaving politics, particularly class conflict and imperialism, within a fantasy universe. it's really sad how so many people missed the references to the kou family split as referencing the chinese civil war, magnostat as a criticism of the apartheid state of Israel, and the use of Sinbad to discuss the American empire and soft power imperialism. sad that the editors fucked over the ending but i love magi so so much!!!
