wtf - decline in story quality

Well this was just creepy/infuriating. Not something I'm going to read again. Pros: 1) I do like the art. 2) The dancing is lovely. 3) Love the subplot with the supernatural overtones (whooo snakes). 3) Blood brother actually showing understanding of consent (compared to what I'm assuming will be the main love interest). Cons: 1) What happened to their personalities/character development? - I'm not feeling anything for any of the characters . 2) Can we not use attempted rape as a plot point when the repercussions of that action is just brushed aside? I spent the rest of the chapters mentally yelling: Why are you close to him, he tried to rape you. You worried that the guy who tried to rape you is angry with you? Seriously? 3) Even without the chapters being in the wrong order I'm still feeling like I'm being bounced from scene to scene. 4) What's with this damn need to protect her. You know what? Let's give her a war fan. Then she can protect herself from everyone. Gah. Just gah.

Story structure needs work

The fuck is up with the manga. There are so maaaany words! Every page - so much talking - fucks sake! I can't stand it - I freaking hate the main character - too creepy - like the other manga "kawaii akuma" was brilliant, absolutely loved it ... but this one based on the other brother.. is just too full on. It's like they've shoved a whole storyline into a couple pages - they could have had the stalked one go on for longer! Not be over in 3 pages = see the stalker, fuck the stalker, get stabbed by stalker (purposefully got in the way to get stabbed). Every page in the damn hair salon I want to stab someone. Too many different fonts. Too many speech bubbles. What the hell happened??? D: - So I've given up half way through - think I made it up to chapter 3? It's just sooo no. OH! I have a tag for that!: Won't reread. :D [I forced myself to read it the end this time... and I think.. a lot of my angst and hatred over this is that.. they don't get together. The only smut is a fantasy. SO IRRITATING... I kinda really did want to see 'Hisashi crumble under the weight of Shou's love... >.> <.< >.> ]

Drawing a bit off (I'm partial to the prettier stuff >.>). Storyline a bit - not jumbled.. but jumpy? - might have needed an editor to make it work better? (even though it probably did >.>). Nothing much happened. No character development really. Should I even classify this as a romance? Like the sidestory had it kinda? More about figuring out feelings though. And I checked. There's only one volume??? And it's all scanlated so WTF??

Ike's first book = I've given up reading it - around chapter 3. It's amazing how well their later books are - but this first one is a bit -- boring... SORRY IKE --- and to think that in the future you create the absolute beauty of: Gingaku Hakase to Marmot! - Like WOW. That's incredible! The difference! HOLY SHIT == Okay so I looked at some of the saved images to the albums (from other site users) - and some of the later chapters start showing briefly (Chapter 4's smut and whatnot :D) what the future shall hold.
