Good news! He does end up killing the king! It's not a hate to love crapfest! There's a bit of a crazy backstory but hey he followed through with his revenge - YAY!

I can't tell the damn characters apart - like I get that some of them are family members.. but STILL ARGH

What. I will say 'killed defending her unborn baby' brings up a completely different image to 'died as a result of a forced cesarean so her husband (the emperor) could make the baby into medicine for his mistress (her sister)'.

Okay. If I assume this is based off a light novel and is missing chunks of backstory... I can work with it. Because having a tragic backstory of - living in a kingdom where men have everything and women nothing, killed fiancee & husband in self-defense, sentenced to death, brutalized in prison for 5 years, gets 'rescued'... and all that is glossed over when the archduke comes into the picture. He's all - going to pick you up, going to pat your head, going to wash your naked body in the bathroom... and it's suddenly forgotten that - this women has been abused -- you think that touching her willy-nilly is something she's going to be comfortable with?? [But nooo, no worries, she seems okay with it - WTF]. Should have had more chapters with her getting comfortable with the servants before springing the duke's lack of personal space on her. Ah well, at least once the whole revenge story line came in, it got interesting.

God. I'm suddenly so over this. I can't take another chapter of the ML being in love with her and the FL pushing him aside. And then they prove they do like each other for a chapter of sweet talk. Gyah.
