I just want to document that I really love the first couple but the second couple… Is straight garbage or more specific the uke of the second couple is the demon embodiment of trash. He uses his powers to make the seme think that he is having sex with the person her loves just to get his energy and it gets so bad that when the seme finds out he wants to kill himself. The worst. I literally skip anything that has the second couple in it and only read about the first couple. That’s how bad it is. The only reason I continue to read this is because the main couple is so cute together.
Sid payed for his crimes in the end. They also gave him a tiny tiny redemption arc and his own love interest different than the toxic relationship which I am thankful for. I stayed in it for the main couple and I wasn’t disappointed. You can tell that the author worked out all the details of the story, characters, and development before the start of the story. Everything had meaning, flow, and it tied up any possible loose ends. The art was very well done and consistent. The story, main couple, and art gives this Manhwa an A+ in my book. I thought about docking a few points because of how much I hated the sexual, emotional, and physical abuse between Jiyoung and Sid but I knew better the second time around ( previously read and noted in 2020 and reread 2024) so I skipped everything involving their coupling. So having reread it from start to finish skipping the rape of a side couple if you could even call them a couple that ends after 30 or so chapters it was wonderful. Jiyoung got with Aaron who is a cutie that helped heal his heart and mind. Sid died after making the evil angel (who was demoted) meta… something fall for him. They both were reborn without memories and fell for each other and lived a quiet happy life. Main couple is just… *deep sign* the pinochle of excellence. They carried the story through thick and thin and I could bare to give them less than a A+. Also their kids are so cute
