this masterpiece made me think a lot about life, about the dreams we have and don’t achieve and the “carpe diem” way of thinking. The whole porn showbiz concept is so freaking good and that’s what makes the whole story so dramatic and I feel kinda guilty watching porn now, because this manhwa shows how porn actors are objectified and often treated like sh*t as they’re not even human beings and the awareness that this crap is much more real than what we think even if we conceive it as far away from as made me feel badly concerned. Now I’m more aware of what people arrive to do when they feel cornered and they find themselves in odd and difficult situations.

I shipped Seungho and Dooyon from the start but wHY LET JOONYOUNG ENTER THE PICTURE, HE WAS SO CARING AND LOVELY AND HOT HE NEEDWD TO BE HAPPY, WHERE THE HECK IS HIS SIDE STORY AAAAAAAH. Maybe I’m the only one lol but I’ve loved Seungho from the beginning (I love psychotic characters and he was kinda scary but also such a CUTIE), so I appreciated even more his change of heart after the probation period. Take care of your mental health babe <3

it’s not a full five stars one since there were too many elements thrown and left undeveloped, like both MCs’ family circumstances and side couples’ development and the motifs of the blue haired guy from the other boyband who had a grudge against hyunho and daho(?). there was a point in which the main couple started being too repetitive, so we needed something more to keep the attention higher. the first season was way more amazing and I’d like to see more about hyunho and daho(?).

I honestly don’t know why this is not as famous as others BLs out there. Perhaps for the lack of sex scenes? Honestly, I didn’t even realise it and I didn’t even care. The plot line was just immaculate as it was without any additional scene or detail or change. When the story developed from a simple body exchange between the MCs to a whole reincarnation AU with aboriginal background I LOST MY MIND!!! I’M A SUCKER FOR REINCARNATION AU and this was sooo original and well portrayed, with no angst and toxicity in the MCs’ relationship, but just growth. I honestly wish such things as fate and destiny and soulmates and reincarnation were real (T—T) then life would probably be meaningful.

Another demonstration that the main feature of a good story is not angst but healthy relationships and important thematics such as homophobia, acceptance and fear of coming out, themes that are kinda obvious in a BL. The fluffiness was on a whole other level of cuteness, when in the third season the author added the smutty scenes I felt like all the criteria for a perfect BL were finally met. I ended up craving some more moment between Jung/Sua and Hyun/Yoon. However, I wish I could see Jung finding the courage to come out to his family and the whole world, so that he’ll finally be able to hold Sua’s hand in public with no fear. I loved how Sua was so supportive and comprehensive and chose to wait and not expect anything from him. Real love.
