Vargoth's Magical Toys
I needed more about Haral and Leo’s love story development :/ still precious that Leo was able to move on and the author managed to perfectly convey the genuineness of his newborn and repressed feelings towards Haral. However, I still wanted to hear an ‘I love you’ from him, as a prize for Haral’s amazing perseverance and determination. THE SLIMES MONSTERS ARE SO CUTE THO I NEED ONE IN MY LIFE.

WTF HOW COULD THE SIDE STORY END LIKE THATSHDVSHAH
July Found by Chance
Okay uhm I needed 20 hours to metabolise the ending and all the suffering this amazing story made me go through. It’s painful because the author used the comic as a filter to depict real life. “Maybe we’re all one-time extra characters”, said Danoh in the last chapter while floating alone in complete darkness. Danoh, Dohwa, Haru, Baek Kyung and the Fairy had not complete freedom to live as they wanted too, but at the same time discovering what the ending of the story would lead them too (darkness and void filled only by comforting but painfully nostalgic memories) persuaded them to live every little moment to the fullest, which is one of the main life advices sages have been giving for thousands of years. In the world of comics, just like irl, reincarnation can be both a condemnation or a blessing: Haru and Danoh were lucky enough to find each other again at the very first try, but what about the next one? What if they never met again after that story that made them main characters? This whole story seems to be revolving around one of the most heart-wrenching dynamic of all: THE IMPOSSIBILE AND EXCRUCIATING LOVE OF SOULMATES AS STAR CROSSED LOVERS. Dohwa’s story break my heart. When I saw him fall off the roof my heart broke in a million pieces, because that was not his concept or a decision the author made for him: he decided spontaneously to put the word end to his life and obliterate his awareness, because he was suffering too much and couldn’t find the willpower to be as courageous and optimist as Danoh and Haru were. I wish the author wrote a spin-off about him and Baek Kyung, who ended up alone: one with no memories or awareness (Dohwa), the other in absolute solitude with not comforting but only painful memories of a happy ending he hadn't been able to reach (Baek Kyung). In conclusion, this is a melancholic and bittersweet masterpiece about this fucked up journey — our life.
Blood Link
Brothers without a tomorrow never fails to amaze me and entertain me with such enjoyable stories. I love the bittersweet atmosphere of all their works. and the last couple (Ino and Kakia) contributed a lot to it. I followed the story throughly and there were no boring or filler chapters to kill the story flow. To me the story would have been just as beautiful if it ended with the first couple (lee bin’s insecurities about his immortality, his fear of losing his beloved and gok’s decision to become immortal for his sake were all elements that made me shed tears), however, I must admit that the two new couples of the second part added to the story many special elements: seolhyun’s past, his amazingly fluffy and healthy relationship with lee hwa and the way their relationship seemed to be meant to be from the start, the erasure of their memories and lee hwa’s mental travel in the past to recover them (as a literary means to reveal the whole story to the reader), ino’s backstory and his bittersweet love story with kakia, destined to end (since ino rejects kakia’s gift of immortality to die and reach his deceased lycan brothers) and leave kakia heartbroken for the whole eternity, kakia’s decision to love ino until his death and take care of his grave for the years afterwards… If the author decided to add a whole new part with seolhyun and hwa’s offspring I wouldn’t complain. This is the kind of story that should like… never end.
