Color Recipe

Complete | Harada | 2015 released

I absolutely love this manga so much and most of it is because it is written by Harada so of course it's going to be amazing. I love the twisted characters by the author and the horror elements in the story. I cannot wait for the next volume to come out so I can find out what happened to the sadist seme. I don't care what happens as long as the uke gets to have a happy ending since he deserves it after all the shit that he has been through. The art is just gorgeous and the sex scenes and the sexual tention between the characters is just... *Chef's Kiss*.

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

This was such a good read and the body swap concept was perfectly done. I am happy that everything turned out great at the end for the main characters but I was also left with so many questions that were not answered. For example, what happened between Joohoon and the twin brother at the end, what about Woojin's family and his mother, etc. It was the author's first work so it is understandable why all plot holes were not fixed but I enjoyed it regardless. I really felt bad for original Jiwon because he died when he wasn't at fault and too bad that we didn't see the twin brother pay for it. I really liked the art of the manhwa and especially their eyeballs which were the same colour as their skin which made it look more beautiful. I believe that adding some sexy scenes would have made it even better since I was looking forward to it so much but there was nothing even in the extras so I was a bit dissapointed.

This manhwa was an okay for me. The story was not very good because as the MC said, most of the stuff in it was pure luck and it was so unrealistic. The beginning was very forced as the uke just accepts to have sex with a guy on the fly. He doesn't question it and I didn't really like the side characters' story either. The art was beautiful though and the cute scenes were really good. The thing that saved this manhwa the most were the sex scene even though there were not the best. I really didn't like the plot and the characters.

Like a Tidal Wave - from Pheromone Shower

Complete | Chilyong | 2000 released

I really liked the story. It was really interesting but it was slightly weird how easily the black-haired guy accepted having sex/being bottom for the white haired guy even though he was an alpha. However, at the same time, I've never seen anything like this before so it was good. The reveal that he was a cop made it even better because I love cop semes. I thought I wouldn't be into the art but reading it, I really liked it and didn't find it off. The sex scenes were so good and I have always loved omegaverse genre so it made it so much better. I really wanted to see their baby-making process tho and their baby so too bad that it didn't continue when I think it could have been longer. I still don't get who touched the white haired guy when he was sleeping. Was it the classmate but in the end, he wasn't after him, right? I don't get that part.

Unfather

Complete | Nelly Kang | 2017 released

The story was very interesting but also very depressing. It was sad to see the mom being dragged into the mess of the seme and uke when she trusted both of them so much, only to sacrifice herself in the end. I really liked the obsessive upperclassman(?) being added to the story as it really made the story much more interesting. I hate sad endings like this because they leave me feeling sad and empty. The mom and everyone except the psycho step dad deserved to have a good ending but he ruined everything. I liked the sex scenes and the art style was not too bad. I love me some older seme and a big age gap is even more captivating but I didn't want the uke to end up with him because he is such a psycho. I really wanted the uke to end up with the upperclassman because he really seemed to care about him but he went too far in the end.

Warehouse

Complete | Team Killerwhale | 2016 released

This was such a good read and I am depressed that it is still ongoing so I can't find out the conclusion. I wish that it has a happy ending because so much has happened to the main characters that it would leave me empty if it ended on a sad note. There were so many complicated feelings between the two characters and you couldn't really feel and immerse yourself into their stories. I liked the constant switch from the past to the present as it really kept me on the edge and the story and the characters have so much depth. You could spend hours analysing there psycho since the authors have put so much layers into their characters and their emotions. I really liked the artwork as it constantly switched from all bright in the flashbacks to dark and red in the present. Also, the sex scenes are just awesome and it was really interesting to see the dynamics and the relationship of the two main characters. It was refreshing to the uke keep resisting till the end instead of getting a stockholm syndrome for the seme since that is normally what happens. Edit: I am so so glad that it turned out to be a happy ending for the both of them. I was anxious that with all that have happened between them and how they both have hurt eachother that they wouldn't get together in the end, which is logical. However, at the same time, I felt that they deserved a break and something good at the end of all the suffering so I am happy that they ended up together. I REALLY wanted to see the aftermath and their relationship after they get together but we didn't. I hope we get a side story/extra on their life after the ending. I understand how the uke feels in that he is very anxious about everything and having to get back together with the seme after everything he did to him and that he, himself, did to the seme but at the same, he understands that the seme is the only one he has left in his life so he has to make peace with him by accepting everything that has happened between them and getting over it. This was such a good story and would love to see a short sequel to this.

Love Is An Illusion

Complete | Fargo | 2000 released

I really enjoyed the story and the characters were so interesting. I loved all of the characters and all of the major characters were extremely likeable. I think this is one of the most realistic story that I've read recently, mainly in terms of the characters' reactions and the overall progression of the main characters' relationship. I also really liked the side characters' story when usually, I really hate the side couple. However, since I had already gotten attached to the side characters, it didn't feel weird to get their development unlike many other stories where the side couple is very out of place. The art was very good and the sex scenes were really out of this world. I really like the hot scenes in omegaverse but this took it to a new level with having an amazing plot which most omegaverse stories that I read seem to lack. Lastly, I would say that this is the best story that I've read involving male pregnancy. All the details were captured perfectly and unlike most other omegaverse where a guy just gets pregnant, this one showed the struggles and fear that comes with it. Overall, this is the best one I've read recently and it was much better than what I expected going into it.

I really liked this story and was waiting for it to end to see its conclusion. I really liked the characters because they weren't the typical guys who turn from being assholes to romantic and sweet after they fall in love but I can also see why some people will find them annoying. I felt that the story was pretty realistic eventhough the pacing was horrible. Everything happened so fast and I believe that if it was longer and story was paced correctly then the characters would have more time to be developed and for the audience to understand them. I liked that in the end, the way the uke realized that he didn't like the dad was by talking to him and finding him annoying. For someone who gets bored very easily and is as picky as the uke, there is no way that he would have been able to have a proper relationship with the dad. The uke only liked his appearance and didn't know his personality so when he realized that the dad was boring, he lost interest in him. This shows the importance of knowing the person you date because at first, you might only be attracted to their appearance but that is not all that matters as there are many other factors that make up a successful relationship. Other than that, I really loved the sex scenes and I am glad the uke ended up with the friend and not the dad. As much as the uke preached about liking the dad, I just couldn't imagine him having a serious relationship with the dad.

Interview with a Murderer

Complete | KJK | 2018 released

Wow this was an amazing read. This was very different story from everything else and the characters are so unique. From there being no stockholm syndrome and the uke not falling in love with the serial killer to the therapist ignoring what the serial killer has done because he is in love with him, it was all so interesting. I felt that the ending was a bit rushed because eventhough it was obvious that the ending will turn out like it did but the event that led up to that moment and the aftermath happened so fast and felt extremely out of place. In the end, we see the uke was a bit off which left me with a creepy feeling. Overall, I love the story and interviewing a murdrer for just personal reasons/satisfaction was a great concept. The art was really beautiful and the sex scenes were not very explicit but still great.
