Love Is An Illusion

Complete | Fargo | 2000 released

I really enjoyed the story and the characters were so interesting. I loved all of the characters and all of the major characters were extremely likeable. I think this is one of the most realistic story that I've read recently, mainly in terms of the characters' reactions and the overall progression of the main characters' relationship. I also really liked the side characters' story when usually, I really hate the side couple. However, since I had already gotten attached to the side characters, it didn't feel weird to get their development unlike many other stories where the side couple is very out of place. The art was very good and the sex scenes were really out of this world. I really like the hot scenes in omegaverse but this took it to a new level with having an amazing plot which most omegaverse stories that I read seem to lack. Lastly, I would say that this is the best story that I've read involving male pregnancy. All the details were captured perfectly and unlike most other omegaverse where a guy just gets pregnant, this one showed the struggles and fear that comes with it. Overall, this is the best one I've read recently and it was much better than what I expected going into it.

I really liked this story and was waiting for it to end to see its conclusion. I really liked the characters because they weren't the typical guys who turn from being assholes to romantic and sweet after they fall in love but I can also see why some people will find them annoying. I felt that the story was pretty realistic eventhough the pacing was horrible. Everything happened so fast and I believe that if it was longer and story was paced correctly then the characters would have more time to be developed and for the audience to understand them. I liked that in the end, the way the uke realized that he didn't like the dad was by talking to him and finding him annoying. For someone who gets bored very easily and is as picky as the uke, there is no way that he would have been able to have a proper relationship with the dad. The uke only liked his appearance and didn't know his personality so when he realized that the dad was boring, he lost interest in him. This shows the importance of knowing the person you date because at first, you might only be attracted to their appearance but that is not all that matters as there are many other factors that make up a successful relationship. Other than that, I really loved the sex scenes and I am glad the uke ended up with the friend and not the dad. As much as the uke preached about liking the dad, I just couldn't imagine him having a serious relationship with the dad.

Zankoku Na Kami Ga Shihai Suru

Complete | hagio moto | 1992 released

Sigh... this was a long ride. I really enjoyed the story and the way the characters act and react. This was most likely the most realistic story that I've read involving rape/abuse and how it effects the characters. The author took advantage of the long length of the manga and made it as detailed as possible. It shows the realistic struggles of recovering from experiencing abuse and rape and shows how long it takes to recover. It also covered many other topics which is great but the relationship between Eric and Valentine really creeped me out. There were many times where I had to take a second to recover from reading some of the parts of the story because it was too dark/disturbing for me which is obvious from the tags I listed. As for the art style and sex scenes, I am not used to this art style and I usually like a lot of sex scenes. However, surprisingly, I didn't mind both of those things with this story because I think that I was too interested in the story and seeing the conclusion to care about the art style or not having explicit sex scenes. Speaking of conclusion, I was kind of dissapointed in the ending since I wanted a clear ending that confirmed Ian's and Jeremy's relationship and their happiness but at the same, this kind of vague ending matches the tone of the manga so I didn't mind it as much. However, I really wished they had officially become lovers but I guess it was too much to wish for since Jeremy said something about Ian's girlfriend at the end. Overall, it was a great manga and eventhough I don't usually enjoy these type of long mangas but I had good experience reading this. Lastly, everyone who hurt Jeremy is fucking trash that deserves to be punished for ruining his life, which includes the psychopath step dad, the bitching mom, the pussy Natasha, and all the other trash who knew what happened to him but kept quiet or tried to come in between him and Ian's relationship, aka the greedy bitch Sharon and the crying bitch/attention whore Nadia.

I really enjoyed the original and also really like this side story and alternative story with the black-haired seme. I really wanted to see what happens in their relationship after and this story gave me that along with the awesome sex scenes between them. The alternative story broke my heart because that is how it would have ended and the black-haired seme would not have suffered if he hadn't fucked up. It hurts me to see stuff like that and when he had the dream and was looking for the uke at the end, it really made me sad. Overall, I really liked both the original and the after story.

Hogu Hagyeongsu

Complete | im-aeju | 2016 released

I really liked the story and the characters. Also, the family dynamic of the seme is so interesting but they are all psycho. They might be the most messed up family that I've ever seen. The whole conflict between the characters was really good but my boy, the uke, is so miserable and nothing good ever happens to him. I felt really bad for him throughout the story since he kept getting manipulated and abused by everyone else. I also hate the ending because the uke ended up with the psycho seme and not the other guy. Even though the other seme also went crazy but I feel like that was only there for the author to justify the uke ending up with the abusive/psycho seme. It is so unclear whether the uke liked the psycho seme even after everything that happened to him because at some parts, he hates him and on the others, he thinks he still has feelings for him. I've never been able to understand how you can still love someone who abused you constantly just because they felt like it unless they have some history that made them do it. The Stockholm syndrome stories are getting old and I expected something better at the end. However, other than that, I REALLY liked the sex scenes and the overall story was pretty interesting.

Moritat

Complete | Lee Seon-ui | 2000 released

This story was a rollercoaster ride. There are so many twists and turns that all I am left with at the end is confusion. It certainly had an interesting premise but the execution was not very well done as it felt very rushed. It was also very complex, which can be the strength of a story like this but here it had more of a negative meaning to it because it over-complicated a lot of stuff. The relationship and the dynamic between the two main characters is pretty good as it is not a typical romantic relationship but something with much more depth to it, however, as I said before, it left me more confused at the end as I expected to get a an understanding at the end. However, I didn't and that leaves me with unsatisfied feeling rather than getting satisfied at the end when all the puzzle pieces come together in a story, especially this one where there are many layers of mystery to the story. Overall, I think it is interesting but I wouldn't read it again even if I didn't fully understand what happened because I don't really care anyway since I did not get attached to the characters in this at all. They were interesting but I did not care if they got together at the end or not. Also, there could've been more explicit sex scenes when the seme and uke are so hot but they weren't, which is a shame.

Love or Hate(Yeongha)

Complete | Yeongha,Youngha,Bakdam | 2018 released

Oh god this is so frustrating. There is so much that I don't like about the whole story but the worst of it all have to be the characters. The whole relationship between the uke and the step-brother is so bad that I don't even know where to start. First of all, they shouldn't have even done the things they did knowing that they are step-brothers, which is disgusting. Also, when the mother found out about it and told them off, they should have ended it right there but they didn't and the fault mostly lies on the psycho step-brother since he was the one who started it and kept going after his brother even after they got found out. I hate the step-brother with a passion because he was so thirsty for his brother and didn't stop even when his parents and classmates found out about it. On the other hand, he doesn't have the courage to confess to him and become lovers and instead half-asses it even after they are no longer brothers, like if any, that was his chance to get together with him. He has some nerve to tell the uke to not fall in love with when he is the one manipulating him and keeping him tied to him. What the hell is wrong with the uke though? I understand that his first love is his brother but when you know that he is going to treat you like shit and you are going to only feel hurt in the end, why do you keep thinking about wanting to be with him, especially when you have someone who actually love you? Taku, the photographer, is the only one I like in this story and the uke deserves to be with him instead of the manipulative psycho step-brother. If the uke doesn't end up with the photographer, I am really going to hate this story even more because it will become another one of the cliches where the bad guy who has done the things that deserves him to get arrested ends up getting a happy ending. Dropped it because it no longer interested me and the guy ended up with the step-brother, which is the worst choice.

Stalker's Game

Complete | TAN | 2000 released

The plot was very interesting in the beginning but then it turned into something else when the stalker was revealed. It should've stuck with the creepy stalker thing instead of making it the guy trying to make the uke fall for him by using force. Also, at the end, why did the uke change so suddenly and started to care for him eventhough until then he said that he will never accept him? The ending was really rushed and on top of that the fact that he just accepted the stuff the stalker left for him and did nothing about him entering his house just seemed off. There is no way anyone would be okay if some creepy stalker went into their house, did the chores, cooked the food, and installed surveillance cameras to watch them. He should've called the police immediately instead of worrying about being a guy and getting stalked by a guy, especially when he didn't really mind having sex with a guy afterwards and his sexuality changed so fast. Anyway, I think the story should've sticked with what it was going for in the beginning instead of what it became afterwards and their relationship is so fucked up so it didn't feel like a good conclusion in the first place. The art style was pretty good but I didn't really like the sex scenes as they were just the uke giving in to the seme forcing him, every single time.
