Ml is a snake that can transform into a human, and fell in love with the mc, only to have his bad luck make him sick and die, so he had to wait a long time. Ml watched over the mc as a kid, them made him forget having meet him once he realized the mc needed to be seperated from him to live a happy life in the city. Mc grew up (snake ml watching over him the whole time), and fell in love with the ml again in his workplace later. But you don't know all of that until the flashbacks, I started off not knowing any of it but it's actually really interesting.
