Murderer Llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation

Complete | Sum Na Gi,Muk Bu | 2000 released

The mc stuck to what he thought was right the whole time, which takes a shit ton of courage, but was also his biggest cause of pain. He didn't bully others at his orphanage, didn't harm animals and got beaten for it, didn't treat the ml as a dog and suffered from it, didn't care about what he could've been if it went against his love for the ml and his morals. Though I respect him so fucking much for that, it also hurts like hell to read about how his good character brought him so much pain in life. It's frustrating, heartbreaking, and painful but the worst part it is that that's how life is. Also the whole backstory was that the mc went to the prison only to have a roof over his head and food to eat. Though, he got treated badly after seeing how they treated their "dog", and after he felt pity for him, seeing him as human. Shevon wanted nothing more than to see Llewellyn (who the mc named after a prince) be free and living happily. The bitch ass guards tried to use him to "tame" Llewellyn, and he refused and was basically tortured for it. The mc's "friend" of 8 years, after he lost his memory, was keeping track of his life and was the one that hypnotized him into forgetting everything. Shevon eventually kills him when it's either his and his lovers life or the doctors. "That's when I realized...That stealing someone's sense of self is also a kind of murder" (Chp. 85). "I didn't know that this kind of love existed...A love that made the entire world a source of pain" (Chp. 87). "And in this cold, cruel world...maybe 'better' is just another word for 'happy'"(Chp. 90). -ending line OMFG I though he was dead in the end, it hurt sm. Thank fuck it had a happy ending, idk how I would've coped otherwise. The bitches got what they deserved, Shavon and Llewellyn got basically whatever riches they wanted after the government found out about what happened at the prison, and the mc's lived together in a nice house. Though the will probably carry their past, trauma, fear, and PTSD with them for the rest of their lives...things being "better" makes for a "happy life" and that's all I needed as a reader (side note: I cried many tears reading this, from seeing the ml at the prison, to reading about how unfair and cruel life was to our mc, then all over again for nearly every chapter from chapter 80 to 90/the end when everything went down). -6/6/23 FUCKING ONIONS, yet another thing I'll never not be able to associate with BL. I seriously will think about this story every time I see one, or see a storybook about two dolls. 0:)
