There are a few unusual things about Cafe Goyo. Number one, their coffee sucks. Number two, their customers never order off the menu. And number three, Yohan, the cafe manager, is deaf. So when Soohwa joins as a part-timer, though he is not expected to learn how to make good coffee, he is asked to expand his sign language vocabulary beyond the words, “higher,” “pay,” and “please.” But when Yohan offers to give him private lessons, Soohwa is reluctant. Not because he doesn’t want to study, but because he has a “hard” time around Yohan. Like, literally. He gets hard. Whenever he hears Yohan’s deep, sexy voice.

It's secret that the popular 'Peg' disbanded 3 years ago due to the guitarist Shiina suddenly lost his hearing in the right ear. Since then Shiina has spent a lonesome vagabond life, only comes back from time to time to be with Arata, his childhood friend & lover, just like a capricious cat comes to master when he wants to be spoiled. Will Shiina & Peg be able to come back?

Actor Fujinaga (a sophomore in college) loves acting. But he has been failing auditions so often that he has lost confidence. It was then that he met Keito (a first-year college student) with congenital hearing loss. Despite this being Fujinaga's first experience with sign language, he was able to read the hand movements at a glance because he had been acting with more of a desire to "convey" the message than anyone else. He eventually decides to try sign language with gestures, which surprises Keito with his talent to see how Fujinaga expresses his emotions.
