I’m a Killer but I’m Thinking of Living as a Princess
Okay. This story gets more fucky the longer this goes. I'm going to try and clarify what I've learned as much as possible: This girl, we'll call Penny, got isekai'd into a girl that died, who we will call Uma. Penny as Uma wanted to find out why she died and in the process of learning that she learned she was reincarnated from someone like a thousand years ago, we'll call the first iteration her Beanie. BUT THEN SHE WAS REINCARNATED AGAIN BEFORE BEING HER NOW BODY, WHO WE WILL CALL JANE!! NOW HERE IS THE KICKER!! The 2nd person, Jane, WAS ALIVE AND KICKING WHEN HER CURRENT BODY, UMA, WAS ALIVE. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE THEY MAKE A HUGE SHTICK ABOUT THEM BEING BORN AT THE EXACT SAME FUCKING TIME. And you know how they explain it away? "Her soul crossed time and space". SO!! Penny got isekai'd into dead Uma who was secretly the reincarnation of Beanie. Uma and Jane who were born at the same time were both the same reincarnation despite being different people so when Jane died she SUPPOSEDLY crossed time and space and reincarnated as Uma who was born at the same time as Jane BUT SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER SHE WAS JANE. AND ALL OF THESE PEOPLE, EXCLUDING PENNY I THINK, WERE ONCE BEANIE.
I Tried To Be Her Loyal Sword
Really interesting!! Very slow, but I love a good slow burn so I hope to continue enjoying it for a long time to come.
Saving the Villain Who was Abandoned by the Female Lead
I can't anymore I had to stop at chapter 15. I was really enthused to read this but I'm just bored out of my mind. You've got an isekai'd girl in a maids body who drinks a poisoned glass for her master so he doesn't die. It reverts her into a child and the master sends her away to a villainous family in the north to cleanse the curse for three years. She goes through troubling dangerous tests and officially becomes their adopted daughter. Sounds interesting, yet they've made it so flat and lifeless. Facial expressions barely change, the dialogue feels wonky and forced, and it's just a personal pet peeve but say something when your promo/front page/cover art AREN'T the actual art style used. I kept reading hoping it would get more interesting but even as she was downing poison vials it was just bland. I can't recommend this one unfortunately even though I'm sure somebody else can appreciate it.
La Dolce Vita di Adelaide
I kinda start skimming after a while since it's vaguely predictable, but it doesn't inherently make it bad in that respect. That just means I have little patience and it's not trying anything crazy new with the formula. Still a solid manga!
Summoning a BL Fan to Another World
Absolutely top tier. The interweaving story gives you a taste of everything you could NEED. It gets fucked it, it's paced beautifully, there are side stories to give you a break, other relationships developing continuously in the background?! This is GOLD tier! 5 Stars!!!
