Tear Drop
I only read the first story, but it bored me. In my opinion, it's quite cliché - or maybe that's not the word for it, but it doesn't stand out from the many other yaoi mangas I have read. Not to mention I found the uke annoying. I honestly couldn't tell whether his personality was supposed to be bratty or shy. But then that's just my opinion.
Seven Days
Seven Days is about a relationship that begins on Monday who's deadline is Sunday. On Sunday, the relationship ends and all ties are cut. For Seryou Touji, this pattern has repeated itself time and time again. But It's not a game - and he's beginning to lose hope. Is seven days long enough to fall in love? Beautiful story, a must read!
Koketsu Dining
Love it. Definitely deserves five stars.
Hello Again
Oh god Ichikawa Kei why do you do this to me.. I'm going to have to wait so long for this update. And then there are so many other manga's you're working on that I want- no I NEED to have updated. I dare say Ichikawa Kei is one of the best or maybe even THE best shounen ai author. (Though she does yaoi too.) In every manga Ichikawa Kei makes, there's this sort of mastery feel to it. Like... it's just.. perfect.
19 Days
I can say without any uncertainty that this is my most favourite shounen ai. Well, maybe with the exception of Ichikawa Kei's works.. but. Seriously. 19 Days is as good as it gets.
Sono Kuchibiru ni Yoru no Tsuyu
The comment section is once again flooded with complaints about this manga being 'horrible, sick and gross' merely because it has rape in it, when that's not the point of the story. To all similar complaints, I'll have you know that there's nothing wrong for a story to contain rape. Movies contain rape scenes as well - it is just an aspect of the story. It's not as if the manga is promoting sexual abuse. It's simply something that happened between two characters - a conflict. The manga doesn't say that rape is good either, so I don't see what there is to complain about. It was a good manga.
Neon Sign Amber
4 stars for now, 5 stars if it continues being great. :) UPDATE: After the third chapter, there's no doubt I would rate this 5 stars. It's so good. A bit of realism going on as well - something that I don't get to appreciate TOO often with yaoi. (But I know there are many realistic yaoi's that are more realistic than this, still, I really thought the straight man's realisation of "oh, he's a guy." between the relationship of a straight guy and a gay guy was very well portrayed in this manga.)
