This is amazing. The story is amazing, and so is the ending. Finished it in a night. Its starting to sink in.. How heartbreaking this is. Everything. His world revolved around his mom for most of his life. She was like a god to him, she was his everything. When she left him, his life fell apart. He had no purpose in his own life besides being the shadow of his parents. He only lived for them. Towards the end, when he finally meets his mother, he realizes that his mom was nothing like that. She is no god. She is a human too. Someone who is also helpless without others, just like he was without his mom. And when she died, he was finally free from all those chains. His mom was just a part of his life, nothing more than that. Now he can get over it and be his own person completely. Because at the end of the day, you are your own self. It has always been a mom-and-son relationship, though a messed up one. All seiko knows is she needs to give his son all the love he can get, to the point its draining her own life. She has never felt loved her whole life, how would she know how to love properly? And eventually she wanted to be free from that responsibility, from the guilt. But she ruined her son’s life as the result.
