Kangjin and Jungkwon became lovers in high school when Jungkwon saves Kangjin from jumping off the schools roof. Both boys have personal issues (Jungkwon’s father was an alcoholic/gambler with debt) but since his father died it has left Jungkwon to pay back his father’s debt and support his family from the loan sharks that his father borrowed money from. Kangjin being worried sees Jungkwon’s family being shaken down and is confronted by Jungkwon, who then lashes out at him for seeing a pitiful side to him and his family. He harshly leaves him without an explanation, 9 years later they meet up again by chance at a host club since Jungkwon is still in debt.
