That was soooo cute omg I loved it! I love the uke being very confident and tough and I love that the struggle wasn’t with his sex and that he’s always been aware of the limitations it poses but doesn’t feel ashamed of being an omega. I LOVE how he talked about being taken seriously too- there’s so much potential for emotional conflict that so many omegaverses don’t take the opportunity to delve into so it was really exciting to see them having that complicated conversation.

It was so cliche and predictable but they really threw me a fucking boomerang when there was a chance at Kiri and Itsuki coming together like are you fucking kidding me and then author just took that away from me- I WAS ROOTING FOR HIM- HE HAD ME THERE- KIRI DESERVED BETTER- AND THEN TO NOT EVEN FUCKING GIVE HIM A BOYFRIEND?????? JUSTICE FOR KIRI FR- G O D D A M STUPID ASS BORING CLICHE MANGA GAVE ME ONE GOOD CHAPTER AND THEN SNATCHED IT BACK FUCK YOU Y’know as mad as I am though- I have to say it was pretty unique to seen an omegaverse but as a shonen ai- it was still boring af but I’m always partial to stories that focus on the development of the characters as they navigate the omegaverse too and not just smut in every chapter. So that was one thing that wasn’t cliche.

I have a lot of opinions- somehow the author explored so much of the emotions that I think are possible when it comes to omegaverse but it was still shit HAHAHA okay like first of all- the age gap is eeeeee but okay sure they’re consenting adults- but are they consenting??? That first chapter was HELLA dub I think- I think it was so valid for Shoma to not want to LITERALLY MATE with Kanata when he didn’t tell him his backstory like that’s fucked- I actually have mixed feelings about the rape portion- bad bad bad gross bad but Kanata I think actually seemed to do a very good job of supporting Shoma through that- actually might be the first bl I’ve read that went through that recovery process- not only that- did it pretty well LMAO- that being said tho nonconsenting pregnancy??? AA?? Umm yay to living selfishly like yeah I guess recognition of yourself and your demands is a huge part of trust that’s cool- UM DO NOT KEEP THE BABY TO FIX THE RELATIONSHIP THAT IS NOT GOOD THAT IS N O T G O O D all in all idk- idk- idk- idk- very emotional and yet kind of shallow I think
