Apocalypse's manga / #Manly Uke(20)

Kinda mundane and the relationship progresses pretty fast without a lot of really moe(ig?) scenes- but the ending is cute and it’s very light-hearted.

All the stories are very cliche and forced, way too much rape and sexual harassment in the work place, even if they are technically dating at that point, semes are manipulative, there are drugs involved, lots of mistrust in relationships and way too many dumb misunderstandings, also there’s teacher x student which is kind of gross in its own way. The third story was the best and even then it was pretty uncomfortable at times. Also all the faces in this manga look the same and I cannot tell character apart, especially near the ending one-shots.

Only made it four chapters in tbh- couldn’t really bring myself to read the rest. The plot is incredibly cliche and weak- I don’t care how gentle and loving the seme acts, rape is still rape. I see no potential in either character and with the cliche plot it’s just too boring to read the rest. It’s just the Titan’s Bride all over again but with more rape.

I really wanted to like this one because I’m such a fan of delinquent romance. To be honest, I accidentally skipped over the first chapter and rolled with it and I loved it. But I was so disappointed with the rape in the first chapter and even in the sixth. I really wanted to like this one because the art is so great and the story has so much potential, but I just can’t excuse rape no matter what. (I’m actually editing this cuz idk I just looked at it and got mad lmaooo- it pisses me off so I’m changing it from 3 stars to 1)

Had this on the reading list but I guess it won’t be getting more updates. The ending was abrupt and unexpected and I feel like if they were going to try to add a backstory they should’ve gone ahead a done it instead of just giving a glimpse, but haha not bad I don’t think. Everyone thought it was rape when we all saw it but it turns out it’s just a bunch of kinky stuff. It was consensual and funny so I’m gonna give it a high enough rating lol

Ummmmm not entirely sure whether the beginning was consensual and it’s a doujinshi for something I’ve never read so honestly I don’t really know who the characters are or entirely what happened—— buttttttt I do like the representation with a dark skinned man. I feel like you don’t see darker skin-tones portrayed well in manga and well… okay to be fair this might’ve not been the best way to do it, but still. Not bad. Kinda bland but not bad.

Yeah I didn’t like it. Ashida was an ass. I don’t care how damaged he was from past affairs, he was taken in by some kind dude after getting drunk on the street and then immediately drank his alcohol and was being that super annoying quirky character. Then he assaulted him in his sleep like wtf WHO DOES THAT. And then he was an ass when Shouma confessed and got all mad cuz he wouldn’t kiss him when HE WASN’T ACCEPTING HIS FEELINGS. LIKE YEAH IF I ASKED SOMEONE TO BE MY BF AND HE SAID NO BUT THEN STILL WANTED TO KISS ME I’D BE PRETTY PISSED. ASHIDA HAD NO REASON TO GO CRY TO HIS FRIEND ABOUT IT. He was just so obnoxious and insecure and I saw nothing good about him. Also it was pretty shallow. I’m not sure how they fell in love.

I really liked that- that was really cute. I love the characters and the blonde guys friend (the school leader) was so hot lol- I just wish the translations weren’t as bad as they were from the third chapter onwards. But it was still cute, I just wish it was more understandable. On another note- that is the ugliest cat I’ve ever seen and I love it lmao
