Apocalypse's manga / #Age Gap(7)

Aw that was really cute. I love the character designs and the aesthetic of the whole story. It has a very modern European vibe for lack of better words. Tbh I had a hard time picturing the characters together at first because they both just seem so different, but I guess that’s what made the story interesting. I’m a little uncomfortable with the age gap I guess, but they’re both consenting adults so idk lol- Oumi is very pretty and I was definitely not expecting Tetsuya to be the uke. Oh actually though- one thing I was really impressed by was how both of them treat each other like men and like adults. I feel like a lot of mangas have one character who is mature and the other who is kind of goofy or hot-headed and the hot-headed one develops as they meet the other. But I love the fact that they both started off pretty mature and continued to mature. And then the fact that neither treated the other like a woman entirely. From Oumi telling Tetsuya he was cool to Tetsuya letting Oumi be the seme- I think that’s an extremely rare thing in this genre so it made me really happy to see both of them treating each with what I see as extreme respect.

Definitely read this before- ummmm first one was alright but the uke was an actual idiot. Kind of a stupid plot. Second one was probably my favorite MaoZhong was very attractive and it was very consensual. Third one was probably my least favorite- rape also that was just weird lmao why would you wanna fuck yourself? I mean- you do you but I got quite a bit of second hand embarrassment- also A PROSTITUTE IN SCHOOL??? IN HIGH SCHOOL??? WHAT KIND OF SCHOOL IS THIS?? I’M SO CONCERNED FOR THIS SCHOOL. And then I remembered the third one being rapey but it actually wasn’t. I’m not majorly comfortable with the age gap, butttt idk. Maid outfit was nice ig?

So I read this a long time ago but thought I’d come back and provide some commentary- the first one is okay I guess- I think it’s rape but I can’t remember. The uke is kinda cute though. I get too much second-hand embarrassment from the second one so I’ve never read it. The third one- hate hate hate hate- the only good thing about it is the sexy uke- hate the rape and the seme is horrible. Ummmm idk what the fourth(?)/bondage one is I literally don’t remember that at all. But yeah. I think I’m actually going to change my initial rating from 4 stars to 3 stars.

They have a great relationship and I love how they sort of set boundaries- ummm it was kinda nonconsensual when homie handcuffed the bf tho- I mean he wasn’t like resisting or panicking but like still?? Throw some consent on it maybe? Um the second story is a no from me- it was consensualish but it was still a minor and I’m not a fan of that- like the kid had issues bro he needs therapy not an older boyfriend. The third one was cute- age gaps aren’t really my thing but they really loved each other and they’re both adults so all the best to them I guess. Ooooo what was the last one- I feel like there was one more couple but maybe if I don’t remember it’s not worth remembering anyways lmao- OH THE ZOMBIE ONE OHMYGOD HOLY SHIT HOW COULD THE AUTHOR DO THAT TO US- it wasn’t bad though. I guess it wasn’t super memorable and it was kinda bland until he shot his bf but hey they can’t all be happy AHAHAHAH yeah it was alright. All in all it was a pretty good manga.

Yeah some stories were good and a lot were not… the first one was good but some of them were sweet but involved minors with much older people, some of them were just rape especially that cruel one with the monster, and that twincest one was just V O M I T EWWWW

Eh it was kind of bland- didn’t like the age gap and I think this author uses the ‘cute enthusiastic puppy’ type way too much. Their puppy types are always super annoying too. Also the end was totally dub-con man wtf
