it was okay, pretty cute, until it got to the final conflict. tho tbh i find the constant misunderstandings brought by miscommunication really frustrating, especially since it's the main conflict of the story. although it's to be expected since it's in the title so i should've seen it sooner that it's going to be the main plot. cuteness-wise, it was very cute. i just don't like how they keep quiet about the little things that frustrate them leading to these little things to pile up. i don't get how no one noticed their relationship either lol. it was a good plot potential, as well as chef heemin resolving his conflict with his family. such opportunities to explore more on these topics wasted. but i do see that the plot has been rushed ever since the hiatus so i can understand.
all in all, i liked the read. it put me through so much emotion and stress that i had the urge to scream into the void. would i read it again? no. but i liked it nonetheless.
