holy......fuck.... tags: nerd uke, bad boy seme, painter seme, public sex, fubu to lovers, heartwarming, enemies to lovers plot 5/5 this had a really unique setting since it's one of the few BL manhwas that was held in the 80's and they made it /count/. it was so beautiful how the writer portrayed a gay relationship during this time and even utilized various settings in this era to the plot i.e. a severe grasp of an asian authoritarian parent on their children's freedom, duk-gwang being a theater's poster artist, and the whole theme of their romance. it really felt like i was watching an 80's movie through panels. reading how duk-gwang and sungho's relationship develop was so heartwarming and heartwrenching at times. they went through so much from an asshole interfering with their relationship to the end of the story where it felt like they couldnt be together anymore--which is why the ending was so fulfilling when they were finally together. art 5/5 the art is one of the factors that made it look like an 80s film!!! the lighting of the characters was always brilliantly set + the minute details of the characters appearances and how the backgrounds were done!!! smut 5/5 IM SO FUCKEN HAPPY THIS HAD FUCK BUDDIES TO LOVERS THEME BECAUES THE SEX PRE-RELATIONSHIP IS ALWAYS SO HOT!!!! TAGS: god x messenger plot - 5/5 struck gold with this manga. beautifully written with excellent pacing and its so good to read bc of all the fluff.....love the world building and the character designs of the gods! love the concept of a flightless uke who gets bullied for having dysfunctional wings, and a banished god whos also different from the others. bonus points for childhood friends + reencounter trope where they used to bond over their similarities and trauma but one of them forgets. i love this manga so much...... art - 5/5 literally fluffy simp seme meter - 5/5 spoiler seme erased his memory just so uke will be safe, even if it meant being apart enjoyment - 5/5 this gave me so much serotonin i want to die overall: 5/5

tags: beautiful story, tragedy, fav, shounen ai i dont think i was ever touched so much by a bl story. the tragic ones catches your heart the most. i havent checked out other works of the artist because of the art style but reading this made me see how captivating their writing is. a beautiful story about a shark and a seagull.
