Fruit of the Tongue
It's already indicated in the very first page of this manhwa that there will be non-con. Please stop reading immediately and EXPECT it to not have rape, you're all just harming yourselves. That said, I'm really looking forward to the next chapters. It says its a horror manhwa and I'm already intrigued with the characters. Looking forward to corruption, obsession, and a lot of psychological meltdowns

tags: body swap, bullying, reencounter, character death, blackmail, rape ----- REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS ------ This wasn't a bad webtoon for a first time from the author. It had a lot of potential in the beginning--promising plot and interesting characters. But nearing the end, it worried me that there were little to no character development. I was loving the pace it was going but throughout chapter 40 I was so confused because it was nearing its end I still see no signs of majority of these characters developing. And so the ending massively disappointed me. I think the biggest flaw of this webcomic is how it handled its side characters. I was half-expecting for Han Jiwook to be redeemed because of the backstory provided. He gave a horrible first impression in the beginning of the series but as the story progressed, the author wrote him as if the audience were made to feel sympathy for him. And I did. I saw him as a redeemable character, which was why it felt shallow and empty when the story had its climax where they got back at Jiwook and left him like that. I guess I could say the same to the rest of the characters. Joohoon, Minjun, Hoon, and even the real Siwon. All had the potential. Maybe someone would say if these characters were explored further, it would have dragged the story further as well and I don't agree. Most of the side characters affected the plot heavily, especially Joohon and Jiwook so it became bland when they were handled like that. The main characters, well. They became so-so at the end as well. Not as bad as the side characters but it's just really frustrating finding out that Siwoon left Taemin for something so trivial. The build-up, however, was amazing. It really got me hooked in the beginning. The only problem I have really is the climax. I'm glad that it didn't follow the body swap trope where the goal was to get back to the original body in the end. It had a lot of enjoyable twists that made this webcomic unique on its own. Even if you wouldn't like the story, the art of this comic is really captivating. The gestures are all so smooth and I found myself saving a lot of panels for future references of the hands and poses. Overall my review is still 2.5/5 because the climax really did hurt the webcomic as a whole big time. Character development really does affect my whole perspective on a series. also not rly important but god i wished the original han siwon made more appearances bc im a sucker for characters like him TT it fucked me up that hes permanently dead AAAAAA
