Tycoon's Temptation
I liked it. The ML wasn't a complete prick, in fact, wasn't a prick at all. His deception was pretty mild, and wasn't designed to hurt anyone. This story has made it's way onto the list of top ten of this genre on Mangago for me.
Morgan's Mercenaries ||| - Return Of A Hero
I’m shocked! An Harlequin with a real plot. Will wonders never cease? And it got the military correct, which is amazing in itself. Kudos to the original author and to the mangaka. They both did a great job.
The Greek Tycoon's Achilles Heel
That was really a good one. I loved the fact that the plot wasn't one of the same tired old story lines that have been done to death. I was also pleased that they didn't write the late wife in as ghastly, scheming scumbag who deserved her fate. As to the filthy scheming step brother, he needs to be in custody, either jail or a secure asylum, because he's sick and it's not the kind that can be cured.
The Girl He Never Noticed
Two people overcoming baggage from earlier trauma in realistic ways. A nice story and a good read.
Don't Play Games
I liked it, and it was well-written. Unlike most Harlequins, the characters weren't black and white, nor were they stereotypes or cliches. There were a number of flawed individuals, but none of the ghastly psychopaths HQ authors are often so fond of depicting. As a character study, it was quite something and well worth reading.
A Virgin for a Vow
Quite decent. They were both hiding some trauma from their pasts and it was real and not what I would castigate as juvenile trash. I thought that it was quite well done how they both overcame it and moved on.
