The Greek Tycoon's Achilles Heel
That was really a good one. I loved the fact that the plot wasn't one of the same tired old story lines that have been done to death. I was also pleased that they didn't write the late wife in as ghastly, scheming scumbag who deserved her fate. As to the filthy scheming step brother, he needs to be in custody, either jail or a secure asylum, because he's sick and it's not the kind that can be cured.
Expecting the Fellani Heir
The only gripe I had was the fact that the ML didn't tell her that he loved her until she was nearly on her deathbed after childbirth. Guys: If you want to marry a woman and be with her forever, for God's sake say those three one syllable words! Save them for the one you're serious about, but don't be stingy about saying it. It was funny and appropriate (considering the genre) for Ataru Moroboshi to refuse to say it to Lum, but in something that's supposed to be real life and not fantasy, it's a must for a loving relationship. Gotta say that I never understood how a guy could be the romantic heartthrob of the ages and never understand anything about women!
Bedded By The Boss
Glad that I didn't let the stupid sounding title turn me off of reading it. This was a good and realistic story where the characters weren't as stupid and stubborn as be damned. Also the ML was not a toxic alphahole nor was the FL a doting idiot. They were both decent thoughtful people, and the story didn't have a whole bunch of sappy, contrived drama that forces them to act like total morons. It was a fun and decent read.
HIS PREGNANCY ULTIMATUM
I liked it. At first, I was a bit turned off by the one night stand, but I liked the way the author melded it into the story as something of an anomaly for both the FL and ML. I also liked the fact that the ML wasn't a domineering alpha type, he listened to her, and didn't threaten her or make demands right and left. Good job Ms. Bianchin.
Shades Of A Desperado
Aaaannd... Sharon Sala comes through again with a winner. One of the very, very few Harlequin authors where I never want to strangle the ML.
Having The Boss's Babies
Enjoyable. The story used a well-worn plot, but the author did a good job of it. The ML wasn’t a promiscuous horndog who believed that all women were evil gold-diggers and the FL wasn’t a doting moron who would have fallen in love with Himmler while being tortured on his orders. It was a real pleasure to read a story about nice sane people for a change. * Side Note: Didn't the publisher realize that "Dazzling Moments" would have been a much more appropriate as well as eye-catching title than the cliche-like one it ended up being? Suits! Bah!
The Girl He Never Noticed
Two people overcoming baggage from earlier trauma in realistic ways. A nice story and a good read.
Renri No Eda
One of the best romantic manga I've ever read. Toda Megumi Sensei excels in this story. Tragedy is one of the most difficult genres to write, as it has to speak to the heart. This story does that and ranks up there with the few stories that manage to do it properly.
The Bachelor
What a romantic story should be! And Toda Megumi's artwork to top it off.
