The Fake Fiancé!
Fun read. Good main characters and banter between them too. I liked the book and the manga adaptation is well done also.
Wed For The Spaniard's Redemption
Really nice story. FL was a strong woman with a mind of her own who wasn't intimidated by snobby jerks, and the ML was a decent man who, instead of the usual Harlequin trope of using childhood trauma to be a complete a**hole, decided to become a better human being because of it. Wish more Harlequin MLs had that kind of character instead of using all their energy to become the ultimate douchebag.
Dark Intentions
I was amazed at how this story, for an Harlequin, presented the grim reality of abused young women without any romanticization or sentimentality. The author did a good job.
Annie and the Outlaw
Sharon Salah does it again. Nice touching characters and a good plot. No psychopath rapist as the “romantic” ML.
Convenient Cinderella Bride
I liked it. They were both decent, kindly people with strong senses of responsibility, and the various vicissitudes in their lives didn't turn them into the typical Harlequin love hater/revenge seeker so many of the authors are so fond of. Their romance and their feelings for one another were cute, and believable (another thing rare in Harlequins).
Doitsuken's Oneshot Collection
This rocks! Doitsuken is the best. Now... Let us have some more Kitsune Spirit, too. My soul is in need of purification.
A Legacy of Secrets
That was actually pretty good. A lot of thought went into the plot and the characters. It's nice to see a Harlequin that isn't the same old tropes where the only change is a Greek billionaire for an Italian one.
The Husband Project
Nice. I enjoyed all three in the set. No lusthog predators masquerading as romantic Male Leads. Cute stories and decent characters.
To be honest, I want to talk with you
Well, that was a winner and he royally rocked! Like the trailer for Porco Rosso, "This is what it means to be cool!"
