I liked the story until his public, shall we say, faux pas. Some things you cannot go back from and that was most definitely one of them. In Harlequin's world I guess you can do it, but not in mine.

The brother and sister were filth. Beg someone to be an [unpaid] surrogate (nine months of pregnancy is no picnic) and then dump them and the child like broken toys just before the birth. I know the importance of family, but these are the kind of conditions where I would never speak to them again.
