I rather liked the FL, although she should have dumped him, but the only thing that could make the ML tolerable is a fatal encounter with Lucha Libre.

Wow! He's a complete scumbag and a total idiot, and the FL feels really sorry for him. It can only be Harlequin.

Aaaand... Another entitled a**hole ML without a speck of empathy. Noblesse Oblige is, of course, obviously a crock of s^#t.

All the empathy of a weasel in a hen house. And how in the world does this twit turn from a grumpy horn dog into Mr Sensitive Love Muffin. Kind of like Ivan the Terrible cuddling a litter of kittens.

My God, what a scumbag! This POS takes double standard to a new depth. He's nothing more than an arrogant and entitled F@#* Boy, and yet feels that he can take the moral high ground.

He should have been fed head first into an industrial grade snow blower.

For a "sensitive lover," why did he spend all his time smirking as he threatened and blackmailed her and gloating as he put her in no win situations all the time, in addition to making her uncomfortable by getting randy with her in public. He also isolated her, by having only HIS acquaintances at their wedding. It was as though he was setting her up for a classic case of gaslighting and abuse. All of the clinical warning signs were there. Then, at the end, he is Mr. Vulnerable with nothing but pure love for his pure beloved. His early actions showed him to be totally unethical as a lawyer and as a human being.

I must admit that I was slightly dumbfounded myself when our spoiled brat ML announced that SHE was the one controlling HIM. Kind of like Nicolo Machiavelli accusing someone of being manipulative.

I could almost like the story, except for making nice with the filthy scumbag that was her father. He obviously hated her and treated her like unwanted garbage when she was a little girl, and then made a show of adoring his step daughters. I'm only sorry that his young wife didn't send him sex videos of her and her boyfriend. He was unforgivable.
