Well, that was funny as hell. I guess it was meant to be romantic, but I find more romance in Adachi Mitsuru’s baseball manga.

Not bad, but it was hard to take it even remotely seriously.

As another reader pointed out, Harlequin stories usually either fetishize or antagonize minority culture. Arab culture, as portrayed in this story, would, depending on the reader's personality, either cause a person of Arab descent anger and disdain or to collapse into helpless laughter. At any rate, it's pretty puerile.
