Hitched!
I enjoyed it. They were both decent people, even if his flippancy would have driven me distracted (once with the ring tone was really funny, but he kind of wore the joke threadbare). I was also kind of pleased that there wasn't unconditional forgiveness for unrepentant toxic scumbags just because they were family.
Up Close And Personal
The Innocent Virgin
Well... That was different, and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the surprises in the storyline. It's so nice to get away from the same-o, same-o. I also fell in love with her when she punched him! (It's hard NOT to fall in love with the women drawn by Riho Sachimi.)
Bachelor Mom
A really enjoyable read. More should have happened to her ex, though. The situation of being kicked to the curb after supporting your spouse through college or grad school is one I am quite familiar with, and I have seen it with and without children, and practiced by both males and females. It is a complete cad's trick and the punishment for the cad should be physically painful, publicly humiliating, and professionally damning.
Miss In a Man's World
A lot of fun. Owes a bit of the plot to "These Old Shades," but I doubt that Ms. Heyer would object too much.
A Summer Night's Love Song
I enjoyed it, but in real life, I think every person in the story other than the FL and ML would drive me insane in short order.
Bringing Up Babies
I really enjoyed it. Loved the creep falling down the front steps into a puddle. The kids were both cute and hilarious.
Rancher's Wife
Enjoyable read. It was pretty funny. ML was a bozo, but not a grade A a**hole. FL was cool. Beth Ann rocked.
Falling For Gracie
I enjoyed it. The FL was fun and funny. The ML was something of a dope, but he turned around.
