Summer Romance With The Italian Tycoon
That was a lot of fun, and a nice romance as well. No gratuitous sex, no toxic jerk-wads, no fake drama. The characters were realistic and fun people (many HQ characters who are supposed to be total heartthrobs I find to be total bores). Definitely an enjoyable read. It was also nice to have a wealthy Italian ML who was an intelligent wholesome character instead of the moronic, testosterone-ridden, alphahole stereotypes some HQ authors are overly fond of depicting as Italian, Spaniard or Greek.
His Pretend Wife
One of the few that I've read where the two meet years after a breakup, and they're decent people who needed to grow and understand each other better. The kids were really cute as well.
The Sheikh's Convenient Princess
A quite nice story. Letting the power hungry, would-be murderer go, however, isn't something that I could ever agree to.
Baby in the Making
Even though it was the "Stupid Will Trope," Ms Bevarly and Takako Sensei made it into a really fun read.
The Sweetest Trap
Sorry to be such a downer, but Mr. Perfect was a perfect sap. His "I know best" attitude would make any sane woman homicidal, and the fact that he was so damn pushy about making her finish her ghastly father's work when she was obviously distraught at the thought of it gave me a very low opinion of his empathy. He also blew hot and cold on her until anyone would have been in complete confusion about his feelings. In other words, he was a completely unobservant and unempathetic dope.
Contracted for the Spaniard's Heir
I liked it. Not an original plot, but it was well done and I loved the FL. ML started off as kind of a stuffed shirt, but he definitely improved.
The Nanny and the Boss's Twins
I enjoyed it. The ML was pretty dense but not a jerk or a creep. He also wasn't an "I want you" horndog like so many HQ MLs.
Ase to Sekken
Nice non-cookie-cutter story. I really enjoyed it.
