Kiss the Bridesmaid
Really cute and funny. I got a good laugh reading it.
Miss In a Man's World
A lot of fun. Owes a bit of the plot to "These Old Shades," but I doubt that Ms. Heyer would object too much.
MISS PRUITT'S PRIVATE LIFE
I enjoyed the story, but I do get tired of the "I want [to just have sex with] you" trope. Dudes, if you don't want a long term relationship or marriage (i.e., a relationship where you're vulnerable), go after girls who just want no-commitment sex. There's plenty of them, so leave the sensitive and easily hurt girls alone. The "I don't want to hurt her, but my lower half is so insistent" excuse is just a selfish rationalization.
The Bridesmaid's Bet
Loved her. Carlo should fall over and turn blue. Older brothers who work hard to make their little sister cry when she's growing up? The parents must have been a real wonderful pair.
The Bridesmaids Reward
I liked it. Her ex was put on earth to meet Truck-kun in a collision test of kinetic energy.
The Temp and The Tycoon
ML started off kind of grumpy and stick-like, but he improved. The FL, now, started off stellar and just got better.
The Fierce and Tender Sheikh
Not bad. It's just best to take these "Arabian Nights for Westerners" tales with a pretty large grain of salt. Think of the setting more like Narnia or Middle Earth and lean back and be entertained.
More Than Perfect
Well ... He was undoubtedly a total nutcase. And the "world's greatest programmer" was an idiot too. His find-the-perfect-bride program was as ridiculous as it gets. His perfect bride slaps his face and tells him where to go. Also, the bit about BFF's boinking the same woman and not being sure about who's the father is a bit, shall we say, distasteful.
Once Upon a Full Moon
I rather enjoyed this story. Really loved the FL and liked her best friend a lot. ML wasn’t a bad sort, but was a bit of an idiot. His dad was a twerp.
