Andrew in Excess
I really loved Kat. Andrew was OK, although I liked his sister a lot more. His parents and her father and stepmother should have a fatal encounter with truck-kun. As for the silicone wonder, she should get drunk and wake up married to a sleazy pimp.
The British Billionaire's Innocent Bride
I enjoyed it. The only gripe I have with the ML is his lack of discrimination in choosing his friends. The story would have been perfect for me with an ending of Oliver flying out a second story window and having the hounds sicked on him.
Billionaire Under The Mistletoe
I really enjoyed it. The only thing that bugged me was that the ML was such a pushy horndog with quite a streak of vulgarity. Class act types of guys refrain from asking women about their underwear until they’re a bit more intimate. His pickup lines were reminiscent of an arrogant high school boy who thinks that he’s the stud of the ages. He also definitely didn't understand the word No, to the point of being an almost rapist. His double standard was also of epic proportions, as he would fire women right and left if they came on to him, but he was a complete sexual harasser when it came to women employed by him. Hypocritical much?
Bombshell for The Boss
Aaaaaannnd... Another warning of the dangers of having family in your business. Little know-it-all brother was born to be seduced out of his shorts. He's definitely going to be owned like a Barbie Doll for the rest of his life. It's almost as though he was created to order by the Confidence Man's Guild as the perfect mark. As to the ML, although he was dense about women to the point of abject ignorance, he was the polar opposite of stupid and had a very strong sense of duty and responsibility. The FL, however, was the real star (along with the baby). She was adorable, loving, and smarter than all the rest put together.
The Boss's Unconventional Assistant
It was cute, and I fell in love with the FL and the step mothers as well!
Greek Tycoon's Mistletoe Proposal
Nice one. No toxic characters or forced drama. Reeeaally loved the FL. She was definitely a breath of fresh air. So was Tina: I really loved her too.
Unwordly Secretary, Untamed Greek - Harlequin
It kind of shows you why it can be a real mistake to hire family in your business.
Cinderella & the Playboy
I really liked this one. She was a total sweetheart and he was great when he forgot his cold-hearted businessman persona. The story also made a point that I've run across in serious articles and studies. Companies that are acquired and run by people only interested in money and not the product usually ruin the company AND the product. I used to be a wine aficionado (a total amateur) and watched a number of very fine wineries get bought out by suits who then fired the top notch vintners, boosted production at the expense of quality, and tried to sell their product for the same gourmet prices. They made large profits for about a year and then became known as a brand that would try to sell Ripple for Dom Perignon. These companies run by "money-men" instead of producers of products also end up being toxic places to work, with absolutely no loyalty from the top to the employees or from the employees to the company.
Lord Exmouth's Intention
I liked it. It was enjoyable and well-written. I also love Hoshino Masami Sensei's art, she really knows how to be a comic artist. She was right about one thing, and that's her historical inaccuracies. As I've pointed out in a number of historical manga, they didn't have revolvers in Regency England!
