I was really disappointed at how the manhwa turned out, there was so much potential for this story but it was wasted. The Dragons from what we see from the dragon characters and the ones in general seem pretty pacifistic. I feel like Azar attacking the humans isn't what started the war but the fact that maybe after the humans discovered what they can do with the dragon's scales, teeth, and etc. they started actively seeking the dragons to get their body parts. The dragons are not like humans, they don't feel desire, they are immortal and don't what it's like to have a short lifespan, if they are similar to Mir and Azar, they must have also naively trusted the humans thinking they want to be their friends or keep them company. The dragons must have realized later on about what was going on, they tolerated it because they they wanted peace with the humans thus causing tension between them but maybe after finding out about what had happened to Azar, they finally decided that enough was enough and attacked with Azar being the first to start it. I hated that they had put romance in the story, I mean I don't mind if there is romance, so long as it doesn't become the main topic of the story. I just think that adding a romance between the crown prince and Mir was too unexpected and not necessary. I really didn't like how velton had a crush on Mir, because we didn't see how their relationship developed, it feels like velton's crush just came out of nowhere. Actually I think the story would have been much more better if there was no romance, I feel like it would do better as an action/adventure story where Mir would have an actual goal. Mir seems pretty naive when I first saw her but I overlooked it because she was mostly alone all her life and didn't have much social interaction with others but as time progressed she didn't really change. I wanted her to understand how complex relationships could be and for her to grow from learning about those experiences. I was really hoping to see the progress and growth of the relationships between her and her friends and how they all became so close with her parents death still fresh in her mind, the pacing of the story in the beginning feels too rushed and when we get to the end it feels too drawn out, I got whiplash from how fast the pacing changed. Most of all I wanted to see her feel conflicted when she finds out about what happened to Azar and why he's doing all of this because on one hand what Azar did to her family and all the innocent people he killed was horrible but on the other hand, she too was also a dragon and though we did get that, it took her way too long to figure it out, she also never knew that like her, he also trusted someone only to get betrayed in the end except his betrayer didn't feel any guilt or shame for what he did. As the story continued I increasingly got frustrated because she was very impulsive, hard to reason with, and held such strong and unhealthy grudges. She hasn't grown out of her immaturity and it takes all of her friends to convince not to act so reckless, it isn't untill at the very end that she realized that maybe she should start using her brain instead of her firsts. When Kayn first appeared I thought that he was a dragon like Azar and Mir but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that he turned out to be the crown prince because it was hinted that the crown prince was still alive but had gone missing, I wish there was more detail about what had happened to him after the death of the other royal family members, I was super pissed at Lilla for being disappointed in Kayn because he was scared of Azar and was questioning as to whether he would be happy as the crown prince or as a chef. I liked how Kayn was questioning his position in this whole thing, thinking about what he wants and if he would choose his people or his own happiness. I Honestly out of everything in this story, the only interesting thing was Azar and his past, I in all honesty would have preferred Azar to be the MC because his past is far more interesting than Mirs. Azar kept us wondering about who exactly he was and after a few hints and with the story he told to the grandma, it's pretty obvious that he's not only a dragon but the red dragon that was said to have started the war and is even older than the white dragon. Even after we found out that he was the red dragon, his goal was still unclear so we still were kept wondering on what exactly he wants with Mir but it's obvious that he wanted to die. I was happy that Azar got to experience a bit of happiness and finally die peacefully but then he got resurrected by the stupid goddess and is now alive again
